I was adding an ad box on my PW account and I would like to have an instant banner for it, but I didn’t have an idea what kind of images should be on it, so I decided to google for web banner maker services.

 

All I  wanted was 468 x 60 web banner. I found these two services and I’ve tried them, here’s my short review:

Based on my search, I got BannerSketch on the top, so it didn’t takes time to think twice to go to the website. There were many templates to choose from various categories, then I selected one to get started.

 

The interface is quite friendly, a standard text editing and formatting, bordering, and frames. We can also save our settings for future use and it will be saved there for 5 days without registering of course.

 

But there’s one bad news when I was trying to generate the image, I had to provide an email address in order to get the results, then I checked my mailbox and followed the links provided by BS, but I got nothing to work, there’s only a link to BannerSketch website, not the actual banner’s image link.

 

I thought that there might be an error on the website, so I tried it again but I still got the same thing not working.

Being not satisfied with Banner Sketch, I decided to visit the next website, Hoover Web Design. There also many good templates to choose, but we have to select an image by choosing it via Combo Box, a little annoyed interface.

 

But the stuffs are cools anyway, standard text editing, formatting, and coloring. It’s very easy to use and we’ll see the image directly after hitting the generate button, time saving :)

 

This kind of service is an alternative if you have no idea but you want to create an instant banner for your blog or website. There might be another similar service which I haven’t seen, so let me know if you have experienced with them.
