Nokia 6120c Firmware Update to V6.01
I had succesfully udpated my Nokia 6120c using Nokia Software Updater. This method is not a problem when we have a broadband internet connection. I found many people failed to update their mobile phone’s firmware in online mode.
6120c V6.01 Firmare Updated
I heard that there’s an interesting way to update in offline mode by using Nokia Care Suite. I have also downloaded this application and have it installed on my PC, but there’s something annoyed; we should find our firmware files and I couldn’t find where to download it.
I had a bad experience updating in online mode using Nokia Software Updater, I couldn’t help waiting until the update process completed. You could imagine I left my notebook connected to the internet while I was sleeping 
I don’t intend people not to update their firmware because it’s recommended to get our mobile phone updated when there’s available firmware update.
There’s an easy way to do updating firmware and we don’t need to waste our time for waiting Nokia Software Updater completes the update by simply doing it directly on our mobile phone.
Caution: Backup all of your data to your memory card before doing the update and make sure your battery is fully charged.
Go to your Nokia 6120c main menu and choose Settings > Data mgr > Device mgr.
Nokia 6120c Firmware Update
Check the availability of your mobile phone’s firmware by selecting ‘Options’ > ‘Check for updates’. Wait for the search completed and you will be confirmed to start the update.
During the update process, your phone will be restarted, don’t be panic and please be patient to wait until the update finished as showing on the progress bar.
After it finished, the phone will be restarted again and you can use your phone with a new firmware. Don’t forget to check it by typing *#0000# on stand by mode. You can see what new features are available on this version 6.01 here.

I think the phone will have this default profile:
Server name: Nokia Firmware Update
Server ID: Nokia
Host Address: http://dms.update.nokia.com/dms/omadm
Port: 443
User name: nokiams

my default profile is same with what you have been describe
but it’s still cannot be updated
do you have another solution ?

I don’t have any idea for now, but I have also another phone that could not be updated using this way, so I recommend you to update it using Nokia Care Suite. The availability of the update is limited to certain product. In some cases, people changed their product code in order to get the availability of their firmware, but this might cause the warranty avoided.

I’ve been updated my phone using nokia software updater . It’s very easY and fast . I recommended using this nsu for updated all of nokia phone .

but i dont know what the new features from this update beside theme and faster access for image, music galery.

Yup, I wonder why they mentioned that there’s no camera sound. I can’t find any menu to activate this option, although I’ve been searching through many forums.

There’s no menu to set the camera sound, although, however, people can do this by hacking their phone (modify the file system and delete or change the sound file), you’ll need a special utility to do this, but I’m not sure what’s the name of the application, you can find it your self, try googling if it interests you
